Richard Weber

Dick was born in Farmingdale, New York, the middle child of five. He moved west immediately after high school to Colorado where he earned a BS/BA in Business at Colorado State University and later completed his MBA at the University of Colorado. His professional career centered around commercial real estate for institutional owners, starting at The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company as Real Estate Representative and retiring from The Equitable Life Assurance Society as Senior Vice President. He is now active in several family ventures.

In 1976 he married Linda, and they have three daughters and one grandchild. He became active in the United Methodist Church in the mid 1990’s through short-term missions and has not looked back since. Currently, he is chairman of the U.S. Advisory Committee for the Life For Children Ministry. LCM is a ministry, initiated and directed by Michael Agwanda, (a Mission Society International Partner), that brings life, hope, and Christian values to HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya.

Dick joined The Mission Society Board in 2007 and serves as Vice Chair and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Board.
