Jan Gilbert was first called to mission ministry at a Mission Society event held in February, 2000. Since then, she has served as a Mission Mobilizer both on staff and as a lay leader in two local churches: Grace UMC, Cape Coral, FL and St. John’s UMC, Aiken, SC. Her international mission experiences have led her to India and Ghana, West Africa. Her current ministry focus is sharing the gospel with those less fortunate in her local community. Jan is married to Jack.

She has served on The Mission Society Board since 2010.
