Tara serves as the associate director of prayer at the Wesley Foundation on the campus of the University of Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from UGA and then earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary. She coordinates prayer initiatives for staff and students at Wesley, oversees the prayer small group ministry, disciples female staff members one-on-one weekly and leads short-term mission trips. Her heart is to see the men and women of Wesley growing deeper in their prayer lives in order that they may know the Lord more intimately and partner with Him in bringing about His plans and purposes for their lives, Wesley, Athens and the world. Her husband, John, also serves in ministry in the Athens area.
